The amount of crude product manufactured in the country was up 1.1% to 34.7 million tons, while flat-rolled steel production climbed 3.3% to 23.1 million tons.

Last month, 2.8 million tons of product were manufactured in Brazil, down 6.1% from November 2017.
In October from September, industry production climbed 0.2% after going down for three months in a row.
The index reached 63.2 points in November, the highest score since September 2010.
As a whole, Brazilian industry output slid in September over August, but in eight of the fifteen areas surveyed by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) it went up.
Complaints filed by other countries against the export of Brazilian goods cause exports of said goods to decrease by 86% on average, the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) said.
Preliminary results show that the Industry Confidence Index slid 0.8 point in August over July.
The country produced 17.2 million tons in the year’s first six months. Exports dropped in volume, but revenues climbed.
Over 41,000 units were shipped abroad from Brazil in the first half. In June, however, foreign sales slid due to currency depreciation in Argentina.
Foreign sales from Brazil came out to USD 520 million on the back of a road transportation industry strike. Industry association Abimaq is expecting a recovery.
