Twenty years ago, when ANBA was founded, the Brazilian bus manufacturer posted a sharp increase in exports to the Arab market. Since then, thousands of vehicles have been shipped, and Marcopolo now stands as a steady supplier.

The vehicles will be used on intercity lines. A delegation from the Sharjah Roads & Transport Authority (SRTA) and Al Futtaim Auto & Machinery Company (Famco) is in Brazil to visit the company’s factory.
Export revenues of the bus bodies manufacturer reached BRL 888 million (USD 244.29 million) from January to September.
In the first half of this year, the Brazilian bus maker shipped 860 units to 17 countries in those two regions, including five Arab markets.
