March saw 2.5 million barrels of oil equivalent and 111 million cubic meters of gas produced per day in Brazil, the National Agency of Petroleum reported.
The estimate for 2027 was shown by Décio Oddone, director general of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP). Currently, the country produces 2.6 million barrels per day.
Production amounted to 1.78 million barrels of oil equivalent per day in April in wells located in Brazil’s so-called pre-salt area.
