The Freakin’ Awesome dates by Al Foah are now being sold in 220 stores of the chain for two weeks. The introduction of the brand is a strategy to bring dates grown in the United Arab Emirates to all types of consumers in Brazil, including those with lower incomes.

In partnership with the Arab-Brazilian Chamber, the Brazilian Embassy in the UAE held an event to celebrate Brazil’s Independence and the 50th anniversary of relations with the Arab nation. Diplomat Sidney Leon Romeiro said the relationship between the two countries is a success story.

Brazilian brands are standing out worldwide and are beginning to gain popularity among consumers in Arab countries. Saudi Arabia is already the fifth-largest destination for Brazilian chocolate exports, and other markets in the region, such as the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain, also have fans of national chocolate.

Held by Abimo and featuring professionals from the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and ApexBrasil, an online event highlighted opportunities in the sector for companies that will attend events in the country in 2025.
