São Paulo – Textile companies from the states of Pernambuco, Ceará, Paiuí, and Rio Grande do Norte, all in northeastern Brazil, are going to participate in three fashion shows in Europe in the months of August and September.
From August 27 to 30, 16 companies will be participating in Madrid International Fashion Week, from September 3 to 6, 12 companies will be going to the Paris Prêt-À-Porter, and from September 4 to 6, another seven companies will be exhibiting their products at Lyon Mode City.
The companies will be participating in integrated sector projects turned to the textile industry, a program developed by the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae) to promote small company internationalisation.
Participation in fairs has the support of the Brazilian Export Promotion Agency (Apex). In Paris Prêt-À-Porter there will be a pageant, called Image Project, and it will include famous Brazilian designers like Lino Villaventura, Marcelo Quadros, André Lima, and Mário Queiros.
