Exports in the period totalled US$ 4.363 billion and imports, US$ 3.411 billion. In the month, the accumulated trade balance is US$ 1.469 billion, with a working day average of US$ 146.9 million.
In the year, the accumulated trade balance surplus rose to US$ 3.644 billion, with a daily average of US$ 40 million, 52.9% reduction as against the period from January to May last year. Exports this year, up to the 16th, totalled US$ 62.756 billion and imports US$ 59.112 billion.
