São Paulo – Vehicle sales were down 7.11% in May from April in Brazil, the National Federation of Motor Vehicle Distributors (Fenabrave) said this Friday (1st). The number includes sales of brand new passenger cars, light utility vehicles, trucks and buses.
May saw 201,900 units sold, up 3.24% year-on-year. Year-to-date through May 2018, sales climbed by 17% to 964,700 vehicles. Results in May were impacted by a trucker strike.
