During a seminar with industry leaders (pictured), he signed a memorandum of understanding with Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) president Sérgio Segovia to advertise the event and food and beverage exports. “The instrument we’re signing today acknowledges the value of this showcase intended to reassure Brazil agribusiness’ potential within the global scenario,” said Segovia. The government of the state of São Paulo confirmed the opening of its commercial office in Dubai, UAE for February 10, 2020. Governor João Doria said he'll lead a business mission to that country to mark the occasion, with executives from industries including foodstuffs, logistics, seaports, machinery, textiles and supermarkets. São Paulo Investment and Competitiveness Promotion Agency (Invest SP) chairman Wilson Mello said the office will work to spread the word about the state's privatization, concession and public-private partnership projects. “These are projects in infrastructure, seaports, airports, roads, intercity trains connecting Campinas and São Paulo, and São Paulo metro lines 8 and 9,” said Mello.
