This Monday (9) in your ANBA Bulletin: The Brazilian participation in Food Africa. The food and beverage industry show in Egypt features a pavilion organized by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Brazil’s embassy in Cairo. “The show is packed. Only today we met over seventy great connections as well as potential members. Many are interested in the Arab Chamber services and in participating in Brazilian trade shows such as Apas and Anufood,” the Chamber’s events coordinator Tâmara Machado, who’s in the Egyptian capital, told our reporter Bruna Garcia. Two companies are exhibiting at the stand: grain company Popcorn and trading company Rauscher Commodities.
And Brazilian researchers participated in the team that discovered a new species of a pre-historic flying reptile in Lebanon, the Mimodactylus libanensis pterosaur. The research is signed by Alexander Kellner, director of the National Museum; Juliana Sayão, a paleontologist and collaborate researcher at the National Museum; Borja Holgado, PhD student of the Graduate Program in Zoology of the National Museum, as well as researchers from the University of Alberta. São Paulo – Brazilian researchers of the National Museum in Rio de Janeiro are part of the team that identified a new species of flying reptile in Lebanon. The animal is a pterosaur, which is the group that comprises the first vertebrates to develop active flight.
