Read at this Wednesday (22) ANBA Bulletin that the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Health has a stand at the Hospitalar trade show, which runs until Friday (24) in São Paulo. The ministry send a delegation to Brazil to promote the Adaá Health Program, designed to pull together and share solutions and success stories collected by the administration regarding health-related issues. “What we are trying to do is improve performance while cutting costs. We are here at Hospitalar to build closer ties between Saudis and Brazilians,” the Ministry’s Public Relation and Events director Thamer S. Aljuwaidi told the reporter Thais Sousa. Besides being at the show, the group is visiting local hospitals to exchange information. They’ve already been at São Paulo’s Hospital Sírio Libanês and Santa Casa. This visit aims to advertise their own healthcare industry show, the Global Health Exhibition, which is slated for September in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Learn also that DP World CEO Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem met with Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro on Wednesday in Brasília. The Dubai, UAE-based port operator owns a terminal in Santos. He talked to Bolsonaro and other officials about economic openness, infrastructure, and investments. He stressed the company remains optimistic about growing its business in Brazil.
