The highlight of ANBA Bulletin of this Monday (12), President Michel Temer called for the bolstering of trade between Brazil and the Arab countries, in a dinner held by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in a partnership with the Federation of Muslim Associations of Brazil (FAMBRAS) in São Paulo. “We are doing a lot now, we want to do much more,” he said, citing the willingness to enhance trade agreements and investment flows. “What I want, and what we all want, is for the Arab world to continue being the exceptional part it has been in our development, especially at this moment where Brazil’s economy is rebounding,” he added.

The Dubai, UAE-based company Shadwell, which specializes in breeding Arabian and thoroughbred race horses, sponsored two events this Sunday afternoon (11). The Arab Chamber held a luncheon to the delegation from the United Arab Emirates, led by the company’s president, Mirza Al Sayegh. “The UAE’s relations with Brazil are very well-rounded, including culture and sports, and Brazil is regarded as a partner and a friend by us. It is one of the leading countries in horse breeding worldwide. We wish to advance these relations more and more, by opening channels to connect our farms and all breeders in Brazil and the world. Shadwell is at the avail of the Jockey Club, of Brazilian breeders and all horse breeding farms across Brazil,” said the executive to reporter Bruna Garcia.
