The city of Rio Grande, in the southernmost Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, is going to receive two shipyards, Aker-Promar and Rio Grande, which are going to produce large scale tankers. The latter, established by three Brazilian businessmen, is negotiating foreign investment.
