São Paulo – The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) will hold next week on August 29, at 10 am, a webinar about the opportunities for Brazilian companies in the United Arab Emirates. The webinar is an internet conference where presentations are made and the audience may interact and participate through a chat.
The initiative is for Brazilian companies that are becoming international and are interested in the Middle East’s market, Apex-Brasil reported. The goal of the agency is to raise awareness to the United Arab Emirates as a relevant destination for companies wanting to become international, bringing Brazilian businessmen close to that market and demystifying the success rate in the Arab country.
Talking to the businesspeople at the webinar are Apex-Brazil Dubai office analyst Ludmilla Figueiredo, as well as representatives with the Dubai FDI, a branch of the Department of Economic Development in Dubai that supports foreign companies interested in investing in the emirate, and Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), which works with the same focus in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.
As per information made public by Apex-Brasil, the webinar’s main topics include important initiatives to open companies, make visas and licenses easier, as well as access to capital and assistance in strategic sectors of the UAE economy. The country is one of the main strategic markets determined by Apex.
The agency reports that the UAE gained prominence in the last few years due to reforms implemented to make starting companies easier and the country stands out as the main destination for it in the Middle East. A report by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) puts the UAE as the world’s 27th better country to attract investment, three positions higher than two years ago.
The registration to participate in the webinar must be made through the Apex-Brasil’s website (link below) with the CNPJ number. The participation in the digital event is free.
