São Paulo – The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) is accepting entries from companies interested in joining the 2020 edition of Gulfood, the premier food and beverage industry show in the Middle East. The deadline for preregistration is October 11.
The exhibition will run from February 16 to 20 in Dubai, UAE. Conditions for joining and corporate selection process regulation are available here (in Portuguese).
Gulfood is the gateway to markets other than the UAE, including North African countries, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Brazilian companies saw over USD 1.451 billion in deals during Gulfood 2019.
Last year at Gulfood (pictured above), 79 Brazilian companies were featured in a space organized by Apex. The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce had a standalone stand hosting five of its member companies – Florestal, Dom Glutão, Nutrire, RCMA Group, and O Primo Logística.
Services on offer from Apex for the mission include a lead-up meeting, market studies, collective networking spaces, meeting room and promotional material made by Apex, receptionists, and support staff.
The Trading Meat and Trading Poultry pavilions are exclusively for foreign trade companies. Brazilian pavilions for the beef and poultry industries will be organized by the Brazilian Meat Exporters Association (Abiec) and Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA).
