São Paulo- The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce will support the promotion of Qatar Investor Window 2011, an event that will bring together Qatari investors seeking business opportunities and foreign companies interested in raising funds for their projects. “Qatar is one of the countries that grow the most,” says Michel Alaby, the Arab Brazilian Chamber CEO. “They are concerned about the World Cup that they are hosting in 2022, so opportunities will come up for Brazilian companies in engineering, construction, architecture, decoration… There is a host of opportunities that enterprises may seek upon attending the event,” he says.
Qatar Investor Window is organized by UCI International, a British company that brings enterprises and investors together, and the Qatari Businessmen Association, which congregates entrepreneurs from the Arab country. “The event also offers opportunities to Brazilian investment-seeking companies,” Alaby finishes off.
By informing they have learned about the event from the Arab Brazilian Chamber, Brazilian companies will have a 25% discount off the enrolment price, which is 1,395 pounds (US$ 754).
Investors in attendance will include Abdullatif Al Meer, the CEO of investment bank Qinvest (Qatar); Ghazi A. Al-Rawi, a managing partner at Eastgate Capital Group (United Arab Emirates), and Hamad Al Saad, an adviser to the chairman of Hassad Food Company (Qatar).
