Apart from informing the local businessmen about the market in the Gulf, the meeting will also be used to launch a construction sector trade delegation to be promoted by both organizations in the month of October. Representatives of construction material, engineering and architecture companies, among others, from the state of Santa Catarina are going to seek business opportunities in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Kuwait.
The idea, according to Alaby, is for the delegation to include up to 20 businessmen. Those participating are going to visit the Big 5 Show, the construction sector fair to take place in Dubai, as well as going to product distribution centres, chambers of commerce and enterprises that are under development. The real estate sector in the region is undergoing a strong expansion.
