São Paulo – The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex), will take ten Brazilian companies to participate in the Big 5, the largest fair in the building sector in the Middle East, to take place from the 25th to the 28th of November, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Registration is open until July 30th.
"Brazilian participation in the fair aims to promote the quality of Brazilian products and services and provide participating companies with routes into the Arabian Gulf," explained Karina Cassapula, Marketing coordinator at the Arab Chamber.
The main business opportunities at the fair are for products such as facings, adhesives and sealers, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning equipment, kitchens and bathrooms, marble, stone and ceramics, steel, water technology, windows and doors.
"For 2013, we will continue this work that is being developed in the region, focussing on the building industry, and on the position of Brazil as a player in the construction area. This year, the idea is to capitalize most from Brazilian participation in the fair since, in recent years, we have noticed aggressive competitiveness in the region," added Cassapula.
The Brazilian pavilion will cover a total 100 square metres. The cost for participation in the fair is R$ 13,250 (c. US$ 6,500). Arab Chamber member companies have a 30% discount. The fair brings together buyers from the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and Oceania.
