Brazilian mining company Vale do Rio Doce intends to expand activities and modernize productive processes this year. The target is to increase production of iron ore to 264.4 million tonnes up to the end of the year. In Brazil, the expansion should generate 137,000 new job opportunities.
The Brazilian government has made a sanitary agreement with the Tunisians. The agreement establishes the rules for exports of live cattle, boneless meat, fish, hatching eggs and one-day-old chicks to the Arab country. The understandings were reached during a mission led by the Tunisian Foreign Minister, Abdelwahab Abdallah, to Brazil.
