The company Americanflex will export between 4,000 and 6,000 coloured dismountable armchairs to a shopkeeper in the United Arab Emirates. The order was made during the second day at the largest furniture fair in the Middle East, which goes on until Friday in Dubai.

This was one of the main conclusions of the seminar on business opportunities between the two countries, which took place yesterday in Tunis. For the president of the Arab Brazilian Chamber, Antonio Sarkis Jr., Brazil may sell more foodstuff, furniture, medicines, building materials, vehicles and plastics. Tunisia in turn may offer more foodstuff, textile products, electric cables and mechanical equipment.
Representatives in the sector from the two countries met yesterday in Tunis. An agreement to supply the raw material should be signed in April, during the Fimec, components fair to be held in Brazil. The idea is to export the finished product to Europe.
Rich in oil, but lacking in a series of fields, the country shows opportunities in the areas of construction and exports of products such as foodstuff and capital goods. The secretary general at the Arab Brazilian Chamber, Michel Alaby, was in Sudan during the weekend to participate in an Arab-European economic forum.

Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa participated yesterday at the opening of Jewellery Arabia, trade fair in the jewellery sector in Manama, and passed by the Brazilian stand. The national jewelleries are installed amongst famous brands such as Chanel, Cartier, Graff and Hermes. On the first day, the companies have already sold earrings and rings.
To expand their markets, Antigua, which already exports 60% of their production, will participate at the Big 5 Show, which will take place in November in the United Arab Emirates. The idea is to find a distributor in the region.
