São Paulo – The embassy of Brazil to Beirut should promote the “Brazilian Night” on Sunday (19) at Ajami Square, in Beirut Souk. The event, which begins at 8:30 pm, should include Brazilian music and dance.
The Lebanese and Brazilians are going to see a capoeira (Brazilian martial art/dance) presentation by Filhos de Bimba. The musical part, in turn, will be in the hands of Naima Yazbeck.
The Brazilian party is included in the embassy’s strategy to promote Brazilian culture in Lebanon. In the second half of the year, the embassy has already shown movies like Central do Brasil (Central Station) and Dois Filhos de Francisco (Two Sons of Francisco) in cities like Ghazze and Tyre. The last party promoted by the embassy, with the same presentations, attracted 1,000 spectators.
