Angela Martins, CEO for Latin America at First Abu Dhabi Bank (C), launched the second edition of her book, A banca islâmica [Islamic banking], on Tuesday (28) during the Global Halal Brazil (GHB) Business Forum in São Paulo. Martins presented a copy to Ali Hussein El Zoghbi (L), Vice-President of FAMBRAS Halal Certifier and author of the book’s foreword, and another to Sami Roumieh, member of the Board of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC). Both institutions partnered in organizing the forum. “Islamic finance places ethics above all other considerations,” Martins said.
