São Paulo – With customers in Brazil, Europe and North America, the Alagoas-based agency 2i9, which specializes in digital media, also provides services to the Arab world. 2i9 was responsible for creating the corporate identity of Allulu & Almurjan General Trading, based in Dubai, and will now begin designing the company’s website.
“We did the company’s visual id work, which includes the logo and in-company communication, such as stationery material. Now, we will develop the website, showing what the trading company offers and which its partners are,” says Isaac Smith, a partner at 2i9.
Smith says the agency has done work for clients in England, Canada, United States and Italy. The Dubai-based company, which is the agency’s first client in the Middle East, found 2i9 through the referral of a friend of Smith’s who knows the owners of the Arab company. “It is a market with great business opportunities,” he says of the Arab world.
The corporate identity of Allulu & Almurjan was created last year, but the website development is yet to begin. The project should be delivered within two months. “This type of work involves support. We are always following up with clients,” Smith explains. The trading company’s website will be written in English, Arabic, Spanish and Portuguese because, according to the businessman, the Arab company imports products from Brazil.
2i9 has never attended events in foreign countries. It has conquered its foreign clients by means of referrals and by going to international events held in Brazil, such as the annual information technology fair Rio Info, held in Rio de Janeiro.
“We do a very consistent work, we develop from corporate websites to portals,” says the businessman. Among the works done by the agency, Smith highlights the portals Tudo na Hora and São Carlos Agora, and the Grupo Coringa website.
Headquartered in Maceió, the capital of the state of Alagoas, 2i9 was founded in 2000 and has a team of six. Besides Smith, the agency has another partner, Luiz Boaretto.
