Brasília – The National Licensing System of Road Freight (RNTRC) can now be made online. The measure implemented on Monday (17) by the Ministry of Infrastructure through the National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) aims at reducing bureaucracy and simplifying the system, as well as improving efficiency in Brazil’s freight.
RNTRC is the national, mandatory registration for all those who work in the road freight industry, whether they are carriers or self-employed professionals. The registration can be done on the ANTT’s website using the single digital services account provided by the federal government.
According to the ministry, in-person registration remains valid, but it will be necessary to check which ANTT offices are open, due to restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The new modality allows carriers to digitally register, re-register and manage their fleet, as well as registering vehicle leasing. The information will be verified using the database integration and security of the Department of Federal Revenue and National Traffic Department.
