São Paulo – The Brazilian writer and researcher Roberto Khatlab, who is the director of the Latin American Studies and Culture Center (CECAL) of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) in Lebanon, was awarded the Brazilian Army Medal last month, in Beirut.
The tribute took place at the Brazil-Lebanon Cultural Center during the celebration of the Brazilian Army Day. He received the medal through the hands of Brazil’s ambassador in Beirut, Jorge Kadri, and of the embassy’s military attaché, coronel Sylvio Pessoa.
