São Paulo – Brazilian natural stones and their uses in décor projects will be showcased to potential Saudi clients on Thursday (5) at a dinner hosted at the Brazilian Embassy in Saudi Arabia. The event is organized by the embassy, the Brazilian Natural Stones Association (Centrorochas), and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) through the sectoral project It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stones, which promotes Brazilian natural stones abroad.
According to Centrorochas, the dinner in the Gulf country will include Centrorochas Vice President Fábio Cruz, Head of Communications Karina Porto-Firme, and Brazilian architect Junior Andrade, who lives and works in the Arab country. On the Saudi side, professionals from the decoration, architecture, and construction sectors will attend. The purpose of the event is to foster dialogue between industry specialists and the applications of Brazilian natural stones. Andrade will give a presentation titled “From Architect to Architect” for the guests.
At the event, the sectoral project will showcase the diversity of Brazilian natural stones, their sustainability, and aesthetic variety, Centrorochas reports. This meeting continues a mission carried out in December of last year. “By continuing the Prospective Mission launched in 2025, the Brazilian natural stones sector relies on institutional relationships as a tool to strengthen its position in the Saudi market,” says Cruz.
From February 6 to 9, the Brazilian delegation will travel to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to participate in Bond Arc Middle East, an event that brings together leading architects from the Middle East. “Bond provides a direct connection between the production sector and professionals who influence global projects. The format of smaller meetings enhances understanding of Brazilian materials and strengthens the chances of their specification in new projects,” says Cruz.
