Recife – The International Business Centre (CIN) of the Federation of Industries of the State of Pernambuco (Fiepe) and the Eurocentro Recife will promote a business mission to Polagra, the greatest foodstuff and beverages trade fair in Eastern Europe, to take place in Poznán, in Poland. The mission leaves on the 17th of September and returns on the 24th, and is supported by the Euvaldo Lodi Institute.
According to the vice president for International Relations at the Fiepe, Paulo Gustavo Cunha, the Polish market has great potential for Brazil. Fruits, greens and fishery represent 15% of Polish foodstuff imports.
"The Polagra is a good opportunity for the northeastern businessmen to show their products. Pernambuco can do good business exporting mangos, grapes and sugar," he said. The vice president added that Poland might be a port of entry to the markets of countries in the region, such as Russia.
