Arvind Chaddha is going to talk about the franchising market in the region of the Gulf next Tuesday at the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce. The main aspect is going to be the fashion sector. The seminar is being organised by the Arab Brazilian Chamber, the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency and the Brazilian Franchising Association.

The Brazilian Association of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (Abrava) is going to sign an agreement with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex) on Monday. The group Vetnil, manufacturer of products for animals, should start exporting to the Arab market this year. The medication is being registered and the company already counts on distributors in Morocco and Dubai.

The International Construction and Public Works Salon, to be held between the 22nd and 26th in Casablanca, is an opportunity for Brazilian companies interested in participating in projects in the sector in the Arab country. The local government expects investment of US$ 10 billion in construction up to the end of the year.

The Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency and the Brazilian Association of Zebu Breeders will sign today an agreement to promote sales of products and services related to the zebu cattle breed. As well as the bulls, the project foresees incentives to exports of semen, embryos, veterinary products, equipments and genetic improvement services.

A group of 43 companies from the city of Terra Roxa, in the southern Brazilian state of Paraná started two years ago a cluster of clothes for newborns. Together they produce 300,000 articles per month and have revenues of US$ 1.37 million monthly. The aim now is to win the foreign market.

The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Industries of the State of Santa Catarina are going to take businessmen from the building materials sector to Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and Qatar. The trip will take place between the 16th of October and 5th of November. Directors at the two entities met yesterday to discuss the details.
