São Paulo – The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce is taking Brazilian enterprises to participate in the agricultural product and foodstuff fair Djazagro. The event will take place from April 23 to 26 in Algiers, the Algeriancapital, and offers opportunities for the food industry in general, packaging, baking products and services, spices, beverage and agricultural machinery.
In 2011, Djazagro counted on the participation of 334 exhibitors from 20 different countries and received 12,000 visitors, of which 72% were rated as decision-makers.
Last year, Algeria purchased US$ 1.39 billion worth of Brazilian products, a 65.88% increase compared with 2010. The main items imported by the Arab country were foodstuffs, such as sugar, grain and vegetable oil.
Registration for Djazagro will be open starting next Tuesday (17). The Arab Brazilian Chamber booth has room for six exhibitors. During the event, participants will count on support from the Arab Brazilian Chamber team.
