São Paulo – After sliding down in two consecutive trading days, the dollar price reached BRL 4.14 this Tuesday (28), a 1.48% hike over the previous day. The price is the second-highest since January 21, 2016, when it reached BRL 4.166.
The Ibovespa, the main index of the São Paulo Stock Exchange (Bovespa), ended the day going down 0.59% to 77,473 points. The shares of large companies drove down the Ibovespa, with Petrobras’ going down 1.71%, followed by Bradesco’s sliding 0.96%, Itaú’s dropping 0.72% and Vale’s declining 0.2%.
