São Paulo – SoftExpert, a tech company from Santa Catarina, signed a partnership with EzzeApps, from Dubai, to resell its software, Excellence Suite (SE Suite) in the United Arab Emirates.
Hermínio Gonçalves, SoftExpert’s manager of Strategic Alliances, says that SE Suite is a solution for compliance and business excellence, helping companies in such tasks as management of process, projects and corporate performance, among others.
In the Emirates, SE Suite sales are directed at the government, retail, telecommunications, financial services, healthcare, energy and public service. According to the manager, EzzeApps will resell the software and user licences, besides overseeing the implementation and qualification for the use of the software in the Emirates. The deal with the Gulf’ company was signed in November.
Gonçalves explains that the partnership occurred because of his company’s initiative, which searched for a partner to resell its solutions in Dubai. “There is a demand for our product in the Emirates. This company already has experience in selling the software. We pitched our solution and signed the partnership”.
Currently, SE Suite has versions in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Also, the software has been translated to Turkish, Romanian and Italian. According to Gonçalves, the company is thinking about an Arab version to allow the expansion of sales in other Arab-speaking countries. “We study the needs and, in the future, could do it, to expand to other markets”, points the manager. The software sold in Dubai will be the one in English.
Today, SoftExpert has retail channels established in 34 countries, including several Latin American nations and the United States, Canada, Australia, China, Turkey, Germany and Spain.
Gonçalves won’t disclose the company’s revenue, but says that 30% comes from foreign sales. The SE Suite is the main product of the company.
Founded in 1995, SoftExpert is based in Joinville and has 200 employees.
