Passengers travelling to or from those cities can connect in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro with Emirates’ flights to its Dubai hub, which serves over 150 destinations worldwide.
The agreement provides increased options for passengers to fly across Brazil and ensures minimal connection times to Emirates destinations like Japan, Australia and India.
Emirates offers daily Dubai-São Paulo flights on an Airbus A380, and Dubai-Rio de Janeiro flights with a newly refurbished Boeing 777-200 LR starting June 1. As of that date, passengers will also be able to fly to Buenos Aires and Santiago do Chile with a stopover in Rio.
