São Paulo – Brazilian companies in the building sector may already enrol to participate in the Big 5, the largest fair in the sector in the Middle East, to take place between November 21st and 24th, in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. Enrolment ends on July 29th.
The Brazilian stand, fruit of a partnership between the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex), will cover 234.5 square meters and will have space for 22 companies. According to the Apex, the building sector in the Middle East should grow 4.7% in 2011.
The Federation of Industries of the State of Santa (Fiesc) will once again promote a trade delegation to the state during the fair. A little earlier, the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade plans to take a trade delegation to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the Emirates, with the building sector among the most represented. That is, the Brazilian sector industry will be evident in the region during the period.
Last year, Brazilian companies participating in the fair closed deals of US$ 7.5 million during the event. The fair counted on a total of 2,150 exhibitors from 70 countries. The number of visitors was 48,300.
Each individual space will cover 10.5 square meters and participation costs 12,500 Brazilian reals (US$ 8,000). Participating companies will have the support of bilingual receptionists and of the Arab Brazilian Chamber team.
