São Paulo – Industrial production in the southeastern Brazilian state of São Paulo increased by 0.3% in March compared with February, according to a survey by the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV). In February, a 1.5% increase was recorded over January.
The result for March this year was better than for March last year, when industrial production decreased by 1.5% compared with February 2006. The survey is conducted by FGV in partnership with company AES Eletropaulo.
