São Paulo – this Thursday (26th), a delegation from Tunisia visited the Amman Chamber of Commerce to discuss the possibility of increasing the flow of trade between the country and Jordan. According to Jordanian news agency Petra , at the end of the meeting representatives of the two countries signed a protocol of intentions providing for the exchange of trade-related information and the promotion of sectorial fairs.
According to Petra, from January to November 2011, Jordanian exports to Tunisia amounted to US$ 18.3 million. During the same period, imports did not exceed US$ 8.4 million.
Both sides agreed that it is feasible to increase exports and imports, as well as promote partnerships in sectors such as industry and services.
