São Paulo – Lar Sírio Pró-Infância will hold the 4th edition of the Ideias workshop on Friday (29), from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The initiative brings together experts to discuss methods, impacts, and social assistance actions. This year’s theme is “Evaluating Productive Inclusion in Practice: Connecting Youth, Market, and Opportunities.” The event will take place at the headquarters of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) in São Paulo.
According to Lar Sírio, the overall goal of Ideias is to foster a discussion on evaluating results and impacts in the productive inclusion of youth. The first panel will discuss how organizations are structured to promote youth development. Participants include Lar Sírio’s superintendent Elaine Bueno, and ABCC Board member and H2R Insights & Trends executive director Alessandra Frisso.
The city prosecutor of São Paulo, Josias Barcelos Jr., will deliver the lecture “Market and Productive Inclusion of Youth from the Perspective of Public Policies,” which will be followed by the second panel, discussing the role of public policies and the market in youth inclusion. Participants include São Paulo’s Public Defender, Kátia Giraldi, the city’s Secretary of Economic Development and Labor, Rodrigo Goulart, and other members of the municipal administration.
The event will conclude with a lecture by Rodrigo Dib, Superintendent of Innovation at the Centro de Integração Empresa-Escola (CIEE), on the Young Apprentice program and the retention of youth in companies. The opening of the meeting will be conducted by the president of the ABCC, William Adib Dib Jr. Located in Tatuapé neighborhood in, São Paulo, Lar Sírio is a reference center for the protection and development of children and youth.
