São Paulo – Lebanese Brazilian Lebos Chaguri and his duo partner Mauricio Scherrer from Mexico cinched second place at Marathon River 2024 in Mexico. The competition took place on the 12th and the 18th, and its final stage was on the Usumacinta River, which feature great rapids.
The duo earned the achievement in the category OB3000. Lebos Chaguri was two times world champion in the F3000 Powerboat category and one in OB3000. He was part of the duo that won the OB3000 category at the previous Marathon River world championship that took place in Colombia in 2021.
