São Paulo – Brazilian airlines carried 797,000 passengers in international flights in August, an increase of 8.95% over the same month of last year, according to data shown this Thursday (27) by the Brazilian Airlines Association (ABEAR). From January to August, the total of international travelers has reached 6.2 million, a 13.04% hike over the same period of 2017.
Regarding domestic flights, the airlines carried 7.8 million passengers in August, an increase of 4.36% over the same month of last year. Year-to-date, the number of domestic passengers has reached 61.1 million, a 3.9% hike over 2017’s first eight months.
