São Paulo – Brazilian company Odebrecht has finished issuing US$ 500 million in bonds maturing in ten years, according to information published on newspaper O Estado de São Paulo this Thursday (15th). The rate of return was 7.25%. Rating agency Standard & Poor rated the issuance BB, and the Fitch agency rated it BB+.
The company operates in engineering and construction services, controls Braskem, Latin America’s largest petrochemical company, develops infrastructure projects, manufactures ethanol and sugar, as well as bioenergy, and it also operates in other fields, such as real estate and mining.
