São Paulo – Khadlaj Perfumes, a brand founded in the United Arab Emirates in 1997, is arriving in Brazil with 13 new fragrances that highlight scents from the Arab world, such as amber, sandalwood, and oud—an aromatic resin derived from the trunks of Southeast Asian trees. The launch took place on Wednesday (25) in São Paulo.
The brand is entering the Brazilian market through a partnership with importer BR Brand, which is currently bringing in the following perfumes: Aura Kiss Of Rose, Cashmere Warm Oud, Création De Rêve, Hareen Al Sultan Gold, Hareen Al Sultan Silver, Hareen Al Sultan Antique Silver, Intoxicate, Musk Al Sabah, Nuha, Oud Al Sabah, Rose Couture, and Shiyaaka Gold, with suggested retail prices ranging from BRL 299.90-496.90 [USD 54.20-89.81].
Floral-fruity, oriental, and woody fragrance families are among those found in the perfumes, with scents that also explore fruits such as apple, lychee, and bergamot; spices like vanilla and cinnamon; as well as notes characteristic of traditional Arabic perfumes.
BR Brand commercial and marketing director Ivana Menezes was quoted as saying in a release that the Arab brand’s perfumes stand out for their “high-performance fragrances” and bottles that resemble “true jewels.” “Their scents reflect the luxury and tradition of Arabic perfumery, combined with a gift-worthy appearance,” she said. The company already represents the brands Lou Prete, part of La Rive, and Style & Scents in Brazil.
