São Paulo – Business opportunities in real estate in the UAE will be the core topic of the Real Estate Show United Arab Emirates 2024 IPS Congress to be held next Monday (29) and Tuesday (30) in São Paulo. The event is organized by the Embassy of the UAE in Brasília. It will feature speakers and industry players. (Pictured, tourists in Dubai.)
The UAE is a country consisting of seven emirates: Abu Dhabi (capital), Dubai, Sharjah, Fujairah, Umm-al-Quwain, Ajman, and Ras-al-Khaimah. It is home to some iconic structures like the world’s highest building Burj Khalifa in Dubai and the Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi.
The UAE offers benefits like tax incentives on high rental income, a safe investment environment, and a robust legal framework, as well as profitable options in commercial, residential and mixed-use real estate.
During the two-day congress, panels on the country will be held, followed by business meetings – it will include overviews on lifestyle, real estate investment opportunities, explanations on projects under development, and a meeting between sellers and potential investors.
The event opening will be led by Saleh Ahmad Salem Alzaraim Alsuwaidi, UAE ambassador to Brasília. In statement given to ANBA, he said this is the first real estate investment event held by the embassy in Brazil to “to cement the strategic relationship between UAE and Brazil which grows each day in all sectors.” As an example of this growth, said Alsuwaidi, the trade flow between Brazil and UAE reached USD 4.3 billion last year, an annual growth of 32%, according to figures released by the UAE’s Ministry of Economy.
“We believe that the UAE is naturally a hub for trade and a gateway to the region due its strong legal foundation, logistics, infrastructure, tolerance and inclusion initiatives where families can grow their business and live there in peace. By promoting the real state sector we are encouraging more investments, tourism, trade and also cultural exchange,” said the ambassador.
