São Paulo – The Expedição Dubai project, which will take Brazilians to explore opportunities in Dubai’s real estate market, in the United Arab Emirates, has been rescheduled to October 2–11 of this year. Originally planned for May, the trip was postponed due to the conflict in the Middle East. Participation is limited to 15 spots, and registration is open until August 31.
The trip is led by Brazilian entrepreneur Bruno Leal, who owns properties in the UAE and intends to share his experience through the mission. Bruno Leal is one of the founders and former Chief Sales Officer (CSO) of Mercafacil, where he sold his stake, and he is currently involved in other businesses such as Bluewave Properties, a wealth management firm; Bluewave Xtrade, which exports food, beverages, and commodities to Arab countries; and Bluewave Capital (BWC), focused on financial and tax intelligence.
The Expedição Dubai project was developed with the support of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, of which Leal’s company Bluewave Xtrade is a member. The expedition is aimed at individuals. The program will include lectures, technical visits to developers’ showrooms, and various interactions with experts and authorities. There will also be an agenda of experiences, among other activities. To participate, applicants must have a genuine interest in making acquisitions outside Brazil and have at least R$500,000 available for investment over three years.
