São Paulo – Real Madrid Foundation, the social arm of Spanish football club Real Madrid, has launched in Tunisia an educational development program through sport for more than 200 children and teenagers aged between five and 17, according to a report published on the club’s website. Called the Educational Football Program, the initiative will be developed with Galactys Sport in the city of Carthage.
Based on the foundation’s educational methodology, the project aims to promote healthy habits and contribute to the development of participants by promoting respect, teamwork, equality and motivation through effort. Preparatory work began in May. The launch was attended by Real Madrid ambassador and former Brazilian football player Roberto Carlos, as well as Galactys Sport representative Yasmine Loueti, at Ciudad Real Madrid, the sports center on the outskirts of Madrid.
