The event, in its fourth edition, is themed “Legacy and Innovation” and celebrates the 70th anniversary of the ABCC foundation, which takes place on July 2. The meeting will bring into discussion the most relevant global topics. “An Ever-Changing World” is the topic of the first panel of the event, which will discuss geopolitical, economic and social changes around the world, and the business opportunities that they create, the impacts of the pandemic, the possibilities created from these major events in Arab countries, and global economic trends.
The second panel will be “Economic Integration for Investment Competitiveness” and will address the diversification of Brazil-Arab trade towards more value-added goods and technological intensity, logistical obstacles for this trade, global expansion, investments, and the impacts of Brazil’s presence in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa).
The third panel will discuss “Corporate Governance in International Operations” and will address the impact of adopting environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) in companies that work in the foreign market. The best practices for international companies to be competitive and opportunities and challenges of adopting ESG will be discussed.
The fourth panel of the forum will be “World-Changing Connections”, and it will discuss the recent acceleration of innovation and digital transformation. Brazilian and Arab ecosystems and opportunities for going international will be discussed, as well as success cases of startups and marketplaces, the metaverse, and blockchain as a solution for security and traceability problems.
In addition to panels with experts, the event will feature authorities from Brazil and Arab countries, special sessions, cooperation agreement signings, and other things.
