São Paulo – Next Thursday (26th), BM&FBovespa, the holding company that contrls the São Paulo Securities, Commodities and Futures Exchange, alongside the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, will promote the seminar Perspectives for Agribusiness in 2011 and 2012, at the Transamérica Hotel on Nações Unidas Avenue, in São Paulo. The event was announced this Friday (20th) by BM&FBovespa.
The event will be attended by the minister of Agriculture, Wagner Rossi, the chairman of BM&FBovespa, Edemir Pinto; the vice president of the CME Group, which controls the Chicago and New York mercantile exchanges, Charles Carey; the chairman of the Brazilian Agribusiness Association (Abag, in the Portuguese acronym), Carlo Lovatelli, and the deputy secretary of Agriculture and Supply of State of São Paulo, Antonio Julio de Queiroz.
Themes of the seminar include the perspectives for maize, poultry, swine, coffee, cotton, sugar and ethanol, livestock and soy. In addition to the agricultural market trend, the meeting will address the products offered by the mercantile exchange.
The target audience, according to the organization, are companies, growers, investors, the government and agribusiness-related organizations.
