On this March 25, National Arab Community Day, ANBA revisits profiles published by the agency that tell the stories and portray the contributions of some of the nearly 12 million Arabs and descendants living in Brazil.

On March 26 and 27, activities at the museum will celebrate Arab immigration to Brazil. The program includes screenings of films and theater plays. The Arab Brazilian Chamber is a partner in the initiative.
The Arab Brazilian Chamber marked March 25 online this year. In a social media campaign, the organization’s president remarked that physicians of Arab descent and their colleagues are fighting coronavirus, and that Brazil is working to keep supplying food to Arab countries.
Given the need to halt face-to-face activities in order to help controlling coronavirus, the Arab Chamber will use the social media to mark the date in Brazil.
