Manufacturing hand sanitizers for the domestic market has helped many cosmetic industries survive the pandemic. Now that the government lifted the export ban, they also plan on meeting foreign demands.

The federal government has waived special license requirements for foreign sales of hand sanitizer. A decree has also created exceptions on a ban on exports of PPE, mechanical ventilators, hospital beds and vital signs monitors.
