According to the minister of investment of Saudi Arabia, Khalid Al-Falih, his country is interested in investing in Brazil’s food, financial, automotive, transport & logistics, infrastructure, ecotourism, and entertainment sectors. He spoke at the Brazil-Saudi Arabia Investment Forum.

The Saudi Investment minister and a delegation of around 100 people are in São Paulo this Monday (31). They expect to visit six other Latin American countries in the forthcoming days.
Saudi Arabia’s Investment minister Khalid Al Falih will participate in a meeting on Monday (31) in São Paulo together with a business delegation from his country. Brazil’s vice president Geraldo Alckmin will participate, too. Registration is open for businesspeople.
Finance minister Fernando Haddad met with Saudi investment minister Khalid Al-Falih. São Paulo state governor also met with Al-Falih, the Saudi minister of Industry, representatives of a Qatari investment fund, and the CEO of UAE’s port company DP World.
The country has 268.5 billion barrels of proven reserves. Following auditing by DeGolyer and MacNaughton, the previous estimate was raised by 2.2 billion barrels.
