Communiqué was made during the International Conference in Support of Sudan, this Monday (17) in Paris. UN called on the international community to give financial aid to the country to guarantee the democratic transition and economic reconstruction.

Brazil’s ambassador to Khartoum, Patrícia Maria Oliveira Lima, spoke with ANBA about the prospects for foreign cooperation and manufacturing amid a new phase in the country. She would like to see more Brazilians involved.

There is strong worldwide demand for the forage plant, which is considered the best feed for animals including dairy cattle and horses. Saudi Arabia is a major importer, and over the long haul, if output goes up, Brazil can start selling to the Arab countries.

Country implements reforms but requires bold and comprehensive reforms to face fiscal deficit and other issues. A team from the International Monetary Fund visited Khartoum and recommended actions to protect the vulnerable sectors.
