Results released by the vehicle manufacturers association revealed a 16% decrease in foreign sales of light commercial vehicles, buses, and trucks.
In March, sales of light vehicles in the Moroccan market dropped 11% to 36,800 units. Dacia, Renault, and Hyundai were the best-selling brands among passenger vehicles.
Both foreign sales and production dropped last month. The President of ANFAVEA stated it reflected the obstacles faced by the industry, such as the worldwide shortage of components.

Numbers by Anfavea show that foreign sales from Brazil were down 22.6% year-on-year and 34.7% year-to-date.
Foreign sales declined 7.1% year-on-year and 0.2% from August, Anfavea reported.
Year-to-date through June, 2 million units were sold, including automobiles, light commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, and motorcycles.
