São Paulo – Foreign trade and international relations professionals will have an opportunity to learn more about the Arab market on Friday (17th), during the workshop "Perfil e Oportunidades em Mercados Internacionais" (Profile and Opportunities in International Markets), promoted by the Anhembi Morumbi University and the Brazilian Foreign Trade Consultancy and Advisory Association (Abracomex).
At the event, Rodrigo Solano, the Market Development manager of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, will give a lecture entitled "Oportunidades de negócios nos países árabes" (Business Opportunities in the Arab Countries), in which he will address the profile of Arab markets, the habits and customs in Middle Eastern and North African countries, and techniques for negotiating with Arab executives.
According to the Abracomex, the course aims to present practical cases involving international negotiation, and also business opportunities in different markets. In addition to the Arab Brazilian Chamber’s manager, other lecturers will include Eduardo Freitas, of the plastics industry company Karina Indústria e Comércio de Plásticos, and Claudia Lovetro, of Master Logistic.
The event will take place at the Campus Paulista of the Anhembi Morumbi University and admittance will be free. Late this month, the Arab Brazilian Chamber is also going to participate in the Academic Week of the university’s School of Business and Law, during which it will speak to the institution’s International Relations students. Aside from negotiating with the Arabs, this second lecture should address labour market opportunities.
